Community Engagement Workshop (Online)
Community Organisers will deliver a FREE series of training workshops in February and March for local residents.
The aim is to help residents build capacity, skills, confidence and understanding of how to get involved and build a thriving local community. The sessions are intended for residents who are not yet involved in their community and those who are involved but would like support to increase or enhance their involvement. The sessions will be held in pairs (register for one set of two sessions) and will aim to cover topics such as:
- Getting involved in your community
- Governance
- Local context
- Fundraising
- Communication
- Conflict Management
- Equalities and Diversity
- Community Cohesion
- Community organisation
- Policy and procedures
